Sunset was rescued along with his herd of alpacas, and while we were assured he’d been desexed, the sanctuary was later blessed with the surprise arrival of little Mia. A proud and protective leader, Sunset has guided his herd — and even the young lambs — with calm strength and quiet confidence.
When his herd first arrived, they faced a wild dog attack, but Sunset bravely led them to safety. Since then, he’s become a symbol of courage and resilience at Lucky Stars Sanctuary, watching over his friends as the sun sets across their peaceful new home.
