Bear and Teddy

Bear arrived at Lucky Stars in August after the dairy she lived on was forced to close during the floods. Just days later, on the 2nd August, she gave birth to little Teddy here at the sanctuary.

In the dairy industry, male calves are taken from their mums almost immediately, labelled as “waste” so the milk can be preserved for humans. Not here. At Lucky Stars, Bear and Teddy will stay together, safe and loved, for the rest of their lives.

By sponsoring them, you’re helping protect a bond that almost never gets the chance to exist. ❤️
